Our Team

Hi, I'm Alison! I have a keen belief in the power of charity and volunteer work, and I am committed to helping people and their much loved pets as I know how much support a furry family member can provide.

Your Pet Food Bank began in April 2021 as "Sheffield Pet Food Bank" when I lived in a flat and had to carry donations up and downstairs on a daily basis. As I saw how many people were in need, I realised the need to grow and cover more areas and this is how the new name of "Your Pet Food Bank" was born.

I currently run YPFB from my garage on my days off from work! Along with doing the collections and deliveries, all of the social media, poster creations, this website, media enquiries, begging emails to companies, responses to clients and others in need is all done from my phone on my days off!

I've met some absolutely amazing and kind people along the way who share their wealth of knowledge in trying to help me succeed and I am so very grateful for their support. I also have a few volunteers who will help with drop-offs and collections - including my parents and my partner who have supported me and also become invested in YPFB.
